It looks like PES 2010 will get an all new makeover for their new edition due to be released for the PS3 soon. Those looking forward to the World Cup will get a nice taste of “football” to get their juices flowing.
More from the press release:
The Japanese developer has recently announced that 18 National Teams will get a kit refresh as part of an approaching DLC package for the 2010 instalment of Pro Evolution Soccer. Japan, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Argentina, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, England, Greece, Croatia, Sweden, Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Australia and Korea will all be kitted-out with fresh strips.
Not only that but surprise entries and exits from national squads will also be updated, continuing PES’s dedication to realism whilst embracing the drama of this year’s World Cup.
This dip in the pool edition will be available via the PlayStation Store on June 8th for free, so soccer fans can rejoice and take part in the festivities.

We reported a bit ago about Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Chapter 1 and its upcoming release soon for the PS3. Well, apparently they intend to push it back a bit for ‘extra work on the design of levels and more time to polish the game for a classic Sonic feel’.
Why do people buy the PS3? Yes, awesome games, but why else? It appears (according to Nielsen anyway) its the Blu-Ray player built-in, even if there was a brief point where it got zapped by an update. Strange given that HD BR players are approaching the sub-$100 mark quickly and the PS3 is $300, but hey…cool games count for something right?
There have been rumors of a follow-up to Marvel vs. Capcom for the PS3, and now according to a site here:
Well, it was only a matter of time before word leaked, and now it has. Screenshots of the sequel to the ultra-popular ”Play. Create. Share.” genre-buster LittleBigPlanet were leaked yesterday
A bit ago on his Twitter account, well-known skateboarder Tony Hawk blurted out (seemingly without consent from the company making his game) that the next title in the long-running smash hit Tony Hawk videogame series will be called Tony Hawk: SHRED. Cool title, but interesting circumstances involving the title.
Anyone who’s played the Recon role in Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s multiplayer mode knows the deadliness of the feared M24 weapon. Fixed with a Leupold Mk.4 LR/T M3 10×40mm front-focal scope, killing enemies from 600 yards away is easy as pie. This one sends any good sniper to salivating.
Treyarch’s coming Call of Duty entry, Black Ops (a title much anticipated in the console community) will hit store shelves on November 9th of this year. That’ll put it right into the thick of holiday buying decisions, which was probably the plan to begin with.
