Ever since Orange Box released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 a few moons ago, PlayStation gamers have felt like they have been shafted, especially when Valve decided to give PS3 gamers an uninspired and inferior version of the game, the pres of Valve stated he disliked the PS3 quite intensely, and then announcing their game Left 4 Dead would be a XBox360 exclusive, you can see where PS3 owners might not have a warm spot in their heart for Valve. But things may be changing.
Now there’s rumors floating about that Valve is reevaluating making their game into PS3 format, and gamers everywhere were rejoicing, even if the statement put out regarding it wasn’t the strongest one in history.
Chet Faliszek of Valve is quoted as saying: “Before we do anything on the PS3 we need to be able to support it in the right way, but we’ll look at it, and I’m sure down the road we’ll do it”. Nice words, but we’ll see what happens. Hopefully they realize there’s an untapped gold mine of hungry gamers for the PS3 who are ready, willing and able to jump on the Valve train, if they only put some elbow grease into this development process.
